Veg Wraps & Public Space Chats

"It's very important there's public life in public spaces. That means people from all walks of life will naturally meet in the streets, squares and parks of the city. **So you can see what society you belong to.** You can see your fellow citizens eye to eye going about daily life.” -Jan Gehl My friend and Architect colleague Dimitar and I are hosting a conversation about public space in Durban through a meal around my table. I am a Candidate Architect, lecturer and researcher working through ways of expanding architecture's visual vocabulary to include people and the ways we use space. Come join us for some DIY wraps with flatbread, hummus, fresh herbs and greens, roasted veggies, pesto, and feta (all animal products will be marked to make the DIY process on your plate vegan friendly). Salad and some G&Ts will also be served, with brownies and ice cream for dessert. (Please let us know if you are vegan we will serve you a suitable dessert) We are really excited to be together, learn from and be inspired by each other. Maybe we'll even come out with some ideas of how to improve our neighbourhoods.
